| A Prayer to the Goddess Soft now the moon in sky above does rise, and shines upon us as we watch in awe. Glory to her, gentle Lady we sing, lift us in thy power, erase all flaw. We are all thy children, you hear our cries. Burning candles on our altars give light, censers smoking send our secrets skyward. Salt and water, cup and dagger are laid, in our rev'rent circle in the backyard. All in celebration of Goddess rite. Thank you, Lady, heart's heal and friend maker breaking never trust or faith in your right. Keep my feet on your path ever after, be my inner guiding voice and delight. Giver, I, in service, aye, and taker. M.D. Warner |
